Leica
Forrest first began her adventures in scrapbooking when she was leaving
to teach primary children in Australia. She was hooked! Upon returning,
she married Jim (fantastic man!) and together they have 3 children; 2
boys and a girl (Riley 9, Jager 7 and Ireland 5) Leica is very easy
going and always up for an adventure. She will try anything once. You
will find her scrapbooking on her lap at home, every road trip and on
flights. She loves quirky shows like Duck Dynasty and Swamp People . She
records Hoarders to play while she cleans the house as a motivation.
Her favourite colour combo is turquoise blue and chocolate brown. She
loves to sing loud in the shower (very off-key), and ironically one of
her first jobs was singing karaoke. Totally loves cheesecake and lettuce
wraps. She doodles all the time, has a gazillion projects on the go.
She definitely is the girl that will make you laugh. She loves creating
all types of media and displays them all over her house. Her passion for
teaching led her to start teaching scrapbook/mixed media classes
internationally and it was a perfect combination of being able to be a
stay at home mom. Published over 800 times in recognizable magazine and
books, she also has been involved with many different manufacturers as a
designer/educator and even a contributing editor. Currently with
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L, Core’dinations, Glitz Design, Art Anthology,
Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine. and now Sizzix! She’s been
teaching 10 years in this industry and still feels a rush every time she
boards the plane to teach somewhere new. It’s all about creating the
memories!

My life is summarized in these photos quite accurately. I'm a very happily married girl with crazy hair, kids that are all little comedians that constantly make us laugh and I just like to create pretty things.
