Good times Always

Yes I know some of you are probably asking---"Is that a Winter layout?" Yes it is. I feel winter is coming. I wish that Fall would stay this mild temperature till mid November or later, but sadly I feel the coolness in the air. So why not share a winter layout?

First you need this die Sizzix Bigz Die - Hexagons, 3/4" Sides. Cut a whole bunch out of matching patterned paper.

Arrange them around the layout. I add stitching lines to make it look sewn.

I cut a few snowflakes out of the packaging the Sizzix dies come it. It is really awesome for a lot of things. I love this die, it really is beautiful. Sizzix Bigz L Die - Stacked Snowflakes

I used alcohol inks to stain the packaging. I love the watercolour effect.

I attached the snowflakes with brads.

Okay, enough winter layouts. I think I better do some spring and fun ones. Winter will be here soon enough.

Hello Cupcake!

This week I have been scrapbooking so many winter layouts? Cray cray! We have such a short summer here, what am I thinking? But the reality is sometimes I choose the paper first and then the pictures to match. In this case, the Authentique paper was screaming my name. It is so beautiful!!!

Want a closeup? Check out these petals!!! I use them in so many ways. The die I use is this Sizzix Bigz Die - Petal Drop. I like how when you cut enough petals, it makes one big flower. Or I have used them upside-down like a tear drop, rain drop.

How about the title? I layered a pp that had the gold foil word on it and then I used the Gold Thickers on top. It gives it a nice layering look.

Also lately, I have enjoyed scrapbooking my instagram pictures more. I love that square shape.

Monster Tucks & Valentine's Day

This is how we celebrate the love day! We celebrate with an event centre full of diesel, exhaust,noise, engines and testosterone. It was fun and crazy! I am absolutely in LOVE with this Authentique pp. GORGEOUS!

Of course you know I broke out the Sizzix dies to create hearts. Sizzix Originals Die - Hearts#3 I cut the small heart of this over and over in a few different pp. Then I just repeated the design all over the right hand side of the page. I also layered the Heidi Swapp flower with a Sizzix Bigz Die - Tattered Florals cut out of the same flower. The title is cut out of the Sizzix Bigz XL Alphabet Die - Word Play.

I love you...

This layout came together so fast! I started with the Authentique "Carefree" Collection. Sometimes, the Sizzix dies are the star of the layout or in this case they are used to make elements pop. to make this photo stand out I used the Sizzix Sizzlets Die-Frame, Instant Photo. I doodled faux stitching around the edge for an extra touch.

Another way to make things stand out is to frame in your journaling in some way. For this layout I cut a frame and placed everything on that. The die I used was Sizzix Movers & Shapers Die - Ornamental

Sometimes I also like to use the patterns on the patterned paper and cut them out to make my own embellishments. Here I cut out the flowers and covered them in Glossy Accents.

Just realized...

I showed you a gift bag yesterday that I did lot's of step outs for. If you would like to see them, go here. Quick & fun and use up those scraps!

This little layout came together sooooo fast.any sort of ledger paper sends me to heaven and back! So I had fun mixing and matching this limey yellow with hot pink.The Core'dinations cardstock worked sooooo perfect for this layout. I love the dimension this cardstock gives when sanded. bestill my heart.

This little girl also makes it easy to grab the bling and decorate with anything shiny! Lot's of times, I have no desire to have a specific"title" for my pages. So it is fun to just find inspiring quotes to put on. Makes me happy. This song I adore, so instead of using the most common line "These are a few of my favourite things." (funny even typing that I sang it outloud. happy times.) Anyhow, the song is fun for little girls and I like how Ireland always has her hair perfect, so the ribbons and hair bow prt has always reminded me of her.
