In the past 2 weeks I have been creating like crazy! I feel refreshed and inspired. Maybe I needed an escape from cold weather to California to kick start my mojo. I am going to share projects I have been scrapbooking, art I have been painting and random projects!
Let's get started!I created over 30 layouts in the past 2 weeks. I put myself on a bit of a challenge. STOP taking everything in the house including the kitchen sink to crop. Take as minimal as you can. Can you reach a goal? I took 1 bag I packed for a crop years ago. The only thing I added was a trimmer, adhesive and scissors. The next time I wet to the farm, I took out the bag I purchased of new stuff and and couple sheets of cardstock. Without a doubt- I have never ever been this creative. Seriously. I took out colour and black and white photos. I was able to make every photo work, because if the colour scheme was specific- I used b/w photos. Sometimes, if I was missing a title- I came home and added it! In this case I knew I wanted to use the Sizzix Originals Die - Curly Gate to add decorative touches on the sides. So when I came home a quick cut on my Big Shot and voila!
This is one of my most coveted patterned paper lines ever. It is the colour theory series from KI Memories. Does anyone else hoard papers? I do! And then I was thinking, why save them. If we ever had a flood, I would be sad that I never used them. I cut my vellum tag using the Sizzix Bigz Die - Tags #5. By cutting in vellum, I could create layers without taking away from the layout.
Thanks for looking!
Make sure you check out the Sizzix blog. We are hitting it out of the ballpark with ideas!
