The reason why I still create them- sometimes I have pictures I love, but not enough to write about, maybe only 1 photo, maybe no pictures at all. Doesn't mean it isn't a memory I want to forget. These 6x 12 pages just sneak right into the albums so nicely. LOVE THEM!!!!
The best part about these layouts is they really take about 10-15min to complete at most. This little honeycomb is a cute die Sizzix Frameworks Die - Honeycomb. Usually I use in insides, but today I used the outsides.

About 8 years ago, I came up with a plan to have less waste when I scrapbook. So immediately once I have finished a 12 x 12 layout, I look to see what I can do with my scraps. If there is a piece big enough for a 6x12- I immediately cut it to that size. Then I save it. If the pieces can make a photo mat- I put that in a photo mat box. If it is smaller, it goes in the scrap pile. By having the pieces sorted, it's easier to accomplish more with less.
