Teacher's Gifts

Do you know how relaxing it is to chill and craft? I love watching a netflix movie while I create. Lately I have done way more projects or gifts than layouts. SO weird for me!!! I think I am going to have to plan to create layouts like crazy at Crop & Create. Get caught up.

Last week I was a making teacher gifts and these were coming together so very quick! Have you tried the new Flower Box Die?  Of course I decorated it with my favourite Tattered Florals Die. I am simply in love with these flowers.

I am going to put chocolates and a gift card in it for the teachers.Handy and quick. Or maybe you know someone who loves gum...

National Scrapbook Day.

Yep- I missed it. A little too much going on for me that weekend. But doesn't mean  I can't do a recap. Sizzix picked their 7 must see  layouts from last year and I made the cut! It happens to be one of my fave, no fuss layouts. Make sure you check it out.

Library Pockets

I am in love with the new Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Library Pocket. Today I made a whole bunch of library pocket teacher cards for the end of the year. 

First off cut out all the pieces. I picked a patterned paper that matched the hearts but was still light enough that I could write with black marker on.

Then I started assembling the pocket.

Then cut the insert.

Here is a closeup of how I decorated the pocket. I simply adore the Sizzix Bigz Die-Tattered Florals, so anytime I can use them, I probably do. Just a very versatile set.
