Hello!
Wowsa, it is a cold day out there today. I am glad I am inside creating art! For this you will need this Sizzix die Sizzix Originals Die - Hearts#3. This is the tag I used Sizzix Bigz Die - Tags #5
Sorry for the bad photo, but take your white card stock and cut out 2 tags. Then emboss those tags using this set Sizzix Texture FadesEmbossing Folders 2PK - Typewriter & Keyboard Set
I started out with Clearsnap Ink using the colour midnight. It is a very deep navy blue. I rubbed the ink all around the edges and then a few places in the middle.Using the stylus puts you in complete control as you can vary the pressure.
This is what it looks like once complete.
Then I went in and added a brighter blue called moody blue from Clearsnap. You can see by adding the bright colour after, then you can see the dark parts peeking through.
Now start with a background paper and start building on it. I put a larger piece of blue pp on it to start building the base for my photo. At the bottom I used a scallop edge to give a different look.
Place the photo on and layer the tags at the top right. They are only decorative touches so they look nice layered.
Here is a close up of the scallop border. I doodled around on it to. Just cause ;)
Add a title- does it always have to be horizontal? NO! This kind of leads your eye to the photo I thought. Then I put a white card stock on the bottom to journal on it.
I added some hearts before I journaled. I didn't want to crowd them in as an after thought.
Stick a heart on the tag- It looks great! For extra movement I placed some sequins all around the page.
Here it is finished. Love this layout of Riley! Can't believe my first born is 11 already.
Thanks for looking!
