Wanna see some more owls?

Hey Sizzix peeps!

Like I promised, here are a couple more owls that I did. They are so much fun. BEST news ever- this Sizzix die is one sale!!! It was $39.99 now it is $27.99.

Here's how to build them.

 

The trick to this little treat bag is to assemble last, decorate first! I did try to decorate it once assembled just to see the difference- it can be done, but is very very hard, and the owl ends up losing its shape a bit.

So here is how I layered the papers. Start with the background.

Layer the face part on the owl. I just use Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L- E-Z Runner to decorate this owl. It works the best.

 

Start layering the feather layers. I curl them up so they look flared.

 

Layer the eyes.

 

It comes together so awesome!

Here's another one that I decorated. You can see these last two I made the nose pop out instead of laying flat.
