Let's make some gift card holders! To make these you need the base of a gift card tag die like this one: Sizzix Bigz Die - Envelope & Tag, Mini. To break up the glitter paper, I need a large die that would give enough room to still be able to write who the gift card is going to, so I chose the Sizzix Bigz Die - Hanging Sign. for decoration I used the Holiday Lamp Post. (which i sadly think has been discontinued. I absolutely LOVE the holly leaves on this one. Simply beautiful!)
I cut out the tag out of Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock- they make such a beautiful giltter paper. I just love it! So I used it for the silver and green.
These little gift card holders come together quite fast. I actually found you could create each one in less than 5 minutes-which in my house is AWESOME~! We needed these kind of things for all the teachers, bus drivers, etc. Sizzix actually makes quite a few little gift card holders if you are looking for different designs. Here's the next one I am going to buy. Sizzix Originals Die - Mini Envelope. It is adorable!
When I am in a hurry I use a glue gun to assemble them, just to do them faster, really. I love using different dies to layered for a different look. I used the Sizzix Bigz Die - Hanging Sign and cut it out of dictionary paper. I only put half on the front. It's light enough to write to & from on.
Bend it over, I adhered it and folded it over.
Now put on some holly & berries on the front for decoration. For the berries I used Kaisercraft pearls, they worked perfect!
Thanks for looking!
