Let's check out a tag I made for Christmas. I used this awesome Sizzix lamp post die. Sizzix has soooo many fabulous Christmas dies you can have fun making tags for a long time!
Here's how I arranged my cardstock on the die- just so you don't have lot's of waste.
Here is how I sandwhich them: die, paper, 2 acrylic plates.
Now this is what you should have (I cut an extra green)
I wanted the light to look frosty, so I backed it with a heavy vellum. So I put Glossy Accents on the back and stick a piece of vellum on it.
now trim it.
Here's a tag I made with glimer mist and used die cuts as stencils. Love this huge Tim Holtz die.
I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to raise the lamp post higher. It gives more dimension to the tag.
Start decorating the lamp post! I bend one set of the leaves to make them pop up more.
glue and layer the 2 different green holly leaves.
I love the look of Kaisercraft pearls for the berries.
add finishing touches...
Thanks for checking it out! Keep loking this week to see other tags and gift card holders I made for people for Christmas.
