Butterflies

I wanted to create a grungy mobile for my daughter.

I painted all the butterflies with Art Anthology mists and sorbets. It gave intense colour-which I wanted. Once completely dry, I rubbed a black ink pad over top to highlight the embossed parts. Then I added glitter, stickles, liquid pearls and rhinestones. They ended up being pretty but grungy.

Next time I think I will buy wire so I could've created a mobile that curved around and around. I don't mind it hanging but that would give a different look.
