A couple weeks ago we had a back to back pirate party for Jager & Ireland. It started out just after Jager's birthday last year, when he said he wanted a pirate party. So we started gathering things for the decorations (It's super cheap right after Halloween!)
But to spice up the adventure I made lot's of homemade touches with Sizzix Dies. First up, every child received a name tag. I printed a large poster showing you how to figure out you Pirate name. So we had a great laugh at that.
I stamped the skulls witha AMAZING SIZZIX set called:
Sizzix Framelits Die Set 4PK w/Stamps - Skull Blueprint. This set was perfect because you stamp the skull, then use the coordinating die to cut out the skulls.
Then I mounted it on
Sizzix Movers & Shapers Die - Cameo Frame.
For the scavenger hunt, I cut frames out of the same Sizzix Cameo die, this time out of Glitter paper. To tie in other decorations, I glued on skulls from fabric. It made them a little brighter for the kids to find in the park.
Then it looked neat putting these Sizzix tags on the cake.

Pipsqueak turned 5, but I hardly have any pics of her. She was way too busy playing!!!!
