So I can take some more pics now that it is daylight and they are dry. You sure go through a LOT of Mod Podge with all the different layers. Fun though!!!
So I was true to sticking to my pledge using what i had, that is why all the canvases are different shapes and sizes, but I don't think anyone minds.
The entire base was layered with many different colours of acrylic paint. I used bubble wrap pressed into the wet paint to add dimension. LOT's of different rub ons. When I was purging for my scrapbook sale, I totally scored finding a Creative Imaginations Swatchbook. Those are gems for words!!!! Oh and another total score, I got alligator paper long ago with the intention to save for zoo pics. BUt man those crocs made for good boots and a purse. lol.
I did stamp most of the flowers, when they were dry i would add more tones in with my copics. I love the alcohol ink look.
After I was finished I did give a good dose of glimmer mist to make it sparkle. In the sun it just shines!!! LOVE it!
This one was a little out of my comfort zone. i tried to create a sophisticated girl, I do like it, I just find it so much easier to do whimsical little girls.
I love the different looks it gives when you layer stamps with rub ons and then pp. fun
ok, well I am honestly tired today, and Ireland needs a nap, so I'm gonna go join her right now. busy night of sports. See you tomorrow!
I just signed up for She Art and I am so inspired! I love your She Art and saw a few ladies that had done some She Art at a retreat last weekend. It is out of my comfort zone, but think it will still be fun.
