well, was last night fun or what? I know I spent a very long night giggling with fantastic girlfriends. We shared in stories, reminisced, giggled, ate luxury, drank champagne, and donned our own head wear.
We started our pre-show party at my friend Sasha's. No brainer. This cool cookie is the epitome of awesome. knowledgeable, classy and fun. She knows how to have a great party. To be greeted at the door in the most stylish hat, well we knew we were entering a fun zone. Then Karen, Georgina and I got to Jody's just in time to watch the ceremonies and take our own fan photos, and be silly. All in all a GREAT time.
Kate was simply iconic elegance. I was not disappointed. She did look nice and "perky". I LOVED her tiara. stunning. the simple bouquet, a nice change.
a modern day fairy tale.
For me, I LOVE the fashion bloopers of the hats. They were extraordinary...UGLY. for the most part. Although they were mostly representing ufo's in some aspect, I LOVED them. There were a few classy ones, but who was there watching those?
Needless to say, of course I have to show a few. It can't be helped.
I absolutely ADORE this hat. I would wear it for sure!!!!! Mind you, I think she is absolutely classy and stunningly beautiful.
although if I was wanting to be crazy and adventurous. I think I would do this slanted ufo type headpiece. wouldn't you?
even the older ladies joined in the fun. Can you picture your gramma wearing this? although snaps for matchy matchy.
this one reminds me of beetlejuice, don't you think? DISGUSTING!
now how about the book ends? they surely did not disappoint. if attention is what you wanted, I think you met your goal. personally I would have thought the high class, elegant route would have been a little more in your favour for hopes of future husbands, but hey, your choice. I also am not quite sure if I would be bragging that you did your own make up. hmmm, a few more lessons may be needed Eugenie.
hmm, I wish you they would have had some news network there solely to create a book on all the different hats that were donned. It would be my coffee table book.
Have a great weekend. I am off to scrapbook and enjoy a few...
Don't forget the token Masianese!!
Karen, I {{heart}} you!!!! So much you often make me spit from surprise at the shocking things you say. :)) Leica
