Well this week is definitely consisting of prep. writing instructions for classes, tying up loose ends, great phone calls. a lazy day.
The best news of the day was from Vicki Boutin. She wasn't able to get the tray that she was going to teach in Saskatoon, sooooooooo she upgraded to the largest tray that 7 gypsies makes that is perfect for hanging on the wall. So anyone taking her tray class has been UPGRADED to the fabulous new tray for NO EXTRA COST. There are spots left in the class, sign up now!!!! Also, she has been teaching a really phenomenal emphemera mini album. She thought that if people would like it, she could bring some down all packaged up for anyone interested in a kit. She will send us pics of both next week. And last but not least, her new product is arriving in, and she has decided to really jazz up the Sassafras class with new new new stuff. So that by far was the most amazing phone call ever. I LOVE when I can share fabulous news.
Nice to begin a morning with such positive good news, exciting bonuses for those that attend.
I sent 1220 photos to Black's between last night and today. That took forever. But I finally used up all my photo credit cards and now I will have lot's of photos to scrap this season. So I am really excited about that. It made me smile when i came across a few of the harvesting ones I took last week. I love harvest.
Picking apples in our family orchard is always great memories for me. I enjoy the juice, the pies, apple betty's, jelly, anything involving apples. It is very comforting to be surrounded by the apples. The kids are such troopers too, they have fun picking the apples.
My happiest moments at the farm are always any moments I can capture where my dad is helping the kids, where he is teaching them something. He is such a kind man, always considerate of others, and never puts himself first ever so I definitely want his influence over my kids. It was cute watching this "tune up" on the kids bikes.
Then we had a chance to celebrate my dad's birthday. This of course is a big deal. Birthdays are to be celebrated. Not necessarily with gifts, but with good words and smiles, a phone call even always goes a long way to let someone know that we are glad they entered the world on this day! Jager picked out this cake. How to teach a dragon. Cute. He figured poppa would love this cake. We love you dad.
Of course everyone wants to be on some sort of equipment. right now while this pic is being taken, Riley is with Uncle Steven in the combine. Apparently he steers oh so straight. Ireland thinks she should drive daddy's truck.
The lineup of bins always intrigues me too.
I was quadding and delivering meals and checking on the guys, this just seemed like such a peaceful picture.
well off to get a few groceries. Our cupboards are bare. Have a fabulous day!!!
Would love to see her ephemera mini album!!

Groceries? Damn, I knew I forgot something... you think of everything! Let's hang out soon! Maybe we should get side-by-side grocery carts! We could visit, walk the aisles and drink coffee from Starbucks...
from Leica: I LURRVE the way you think beautiful!
