So you are welcome to decorate in this theme or any theme. Whatever you would like. You know I will give you a little warning, the game is on. There is some stiff competition to throw the domestic housewives off their winning streak... so are you and your gang gonna try??? I dare you. It's all fun and games. Of course there will be prizes! Don't ya love prizes? We have no seating arrangement, instead we are going to set up "groups of tables" according to size of groups people gave us. It seemed to work well last year.
Times:
- Friday 6pm-midnight
- Saturday 9am-midnight
Again we will open the doors right on time, you will be able to leave all stuff in the gym overnight under locked doors.

So we are on the final countdown to the fall crop. How exciting! I can't wait as I personally am a huge huge fan of Vicki. I love when we teach at events together, I love flipping through mags and seeing her work, I just love her style. So it is such a huge honour she is coming to Canada. So cool!!! Vickis classes are all sold out, but she is planning on bringing some sort of other kits to raffle off, so someone will get a chance to play with her fabulous styled creations!

We will decorate a box, create our own flower colours and more fun stuff. Lot's of techniques. you will leave with a few fun projects in whichever colour you want to play with.
So now onto the event details:
We have a huge goal that we have been working towards with the support of so many. We want EVERY child in the hospital at Christmas to receive a ready made scrapbook album. We are going to give them albums that are made with so much love & kindness. All they have to do is add their own photos & journaling. We are also going to throw in stickers and fun stuff as well. If you would love to help in this adventure, we are looking for 8x8 or 6x6 pages, or new/gently used 8x8 albums. They can be very generic or themed if you like. Any amount is welcome. We are looking for smiles all around.
Now down to the goodness...
will there be prizes??? of course!!!!! And this year since we are raising money for the children albums, we thought why not have a mini album theme??? Sounds like fun hey? So here's how it goes,
Mini Album Contest- share with us your favourite mini album, we will put them on display for people to peruse. We welcome any creativity, any style.
Layout contest- bring a colour photocopy of your favourite layout to share. We LOVE to see your work. It's fabulous and sooo inspiring.
Card Contest- we thought that we would make children's get well cards this time. They will be given to the recipients of our albums, and any extras will be given to the hospital to give the children as they see fit. (THESE CARDS WILL NOT BE RETURNED)
And once again we will have fun fun fun prizes to purchase raffle tickets for. We've been gathering some fun amazing things. And the best suggestion I was given is instead of having the huge prizes as last year, have more prizes for more chances to win. So of course we aim to please. With having the subtle theme of mini albums, I gathered as many unique albums as I could find and made awesome kits. Can't wait to see your thoughts. And we have amazing sponsors as well this year. super cool!
This year we have a guest coming from Manitoba to do the Make n Takes. So let's welcome Trace Geworsky. And this fabulous girl has ideas. I am really excited for her to present.
There is more to come, sponsors to talk about, I will update when I return home.
