I haven't had a sec to look at the Cruisin Away Crop pics so I'll gather them all and show up next week! I have so much to talk about, but today is really important to my family, and that comes first!
Happy Birthday Jager!
But today we had his little birthday party with his friends! We went to Enchantaland. (my new favourite place to hang with kids!) Thankyou to all his buddies (and their parents) for coming. Here's a few pics:
Then a little puppet show came on...
Thankyou Ethan, Mia, Logan, Taylor, Riley, Hunter & Sam for coming. We had a great time!
Thank you so much for inviting Sam to Jager's party. He had so much fun and napped for 3 hours when we got home, still with orange icing all over his face, hands and arms! Enchantaland really is a great place for kids & parents.

Hi Leica,
Just wanted to say hi and I'm loving the new format. Your layouts are very inspiring and I like that your blog is personal. It shows a lot of who you are not just what you do. You deserve all of the success you're having in the scrapbooking world. Congrats!

Here are the recipes so many of you requested from the cruise crop
STRAWBERRY SALAD
1 head of romaine lettuce
1/4 cup thinly sliced almonds
(toasted or untoasted)
1 cup sliced strawberries
1/4 cup shelled sunflower seeds
2 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
Dressing:
1/2 cup milk (or 1/2 and 1/2)
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup mayonaise
Refrigerate until ready to serve
Toss salad immediately before serving
ORIENTAL SALAD (party size)
4 or 5 stems of green onions chopped
6 celery stalks sliced thinly
grate a small white cabbage
grate 1 carrot (mainly for color)
grate the stems of 4 or 5 broccoli
cut the broccoli florets into bite size pieces
cut 1 small cauliflower florets into bite size
1 cup shelled sunflower seeds
1 cup sliced almonds (toasted or untoasted)
3 pkg Ichiban noodles crumbled
2 cups other dry chow mein noodles (leave these
in approximately 1 inch pieces)
Dressing:
3 original Ichiban Noodle Soup Mix Flavor packets
1 cup oil (any oil will do, but I like to mix
olive, canola and a bit of sesame)
15 tsp white vinegar
5 tbsp sugar
***if I know that my guests are not allergic to
nuts, I like to add 1/2 cup of Thai dressing
to this - otherwise you will have to add an
extra 1/2 cup of oil instead.)***
Shake well. Refridgerate until ready to serve and
shake before adding to the salad. Mix thoroughly.
Note: This salad is good for a few days, but to get the crunchiness back, I just crumble up some more dry noodles.
Easy to downsize this recipe, and depending on your families likes and dislikes this can be made without a certain vegetable, and increase the ones you love.

We were so happy to come from Alberta to celebrate Jager's 2nd Birthday. Neat place, and when Hunter is a little older, he will really enjoy his goodie bag, with the dinosaur, stickers, etc. Love Auntie Jenn, Uncle Darryl and Hunter

Had a great time at Jager's 2nd birthday party. Enchantaland is a great place for little kids to play, and the coffee for the adults was um um good!
The Dinosaur theme was perfect for Jager -
Happy Birthday Jager, Love Gramma and Grampa Elian
