Summer is almost gone. EEK! I'm already missing the time I have enjoyed. I HAd a fabulous fabulous time with my kids this summer. We have spent the time swimming, camping, going to the lake, the farm, adventures with friends at the spray parks. It has been great!
This past week, I was up to my armpits with assignments and toss in their a monumental event. A BRAND NEW SCRAPBOOK STORE OPENING in Saskatoon. And well bestill my heart. A second home, a place to hang with friends, I have been missing out on a place where it is comfortable, friendly atmosphere, and a store owner that is passionate about scrapbooking and being the best she can be. I am in heaven. Of course nothing like a few glitches before opening day, however a few of us diehards stayed around the clock and helped her get in ship shape for opening. I actually didn't even go to bed Wed at all,So between Tues-Thursday I had only 2 hrs sleep. yikes, a walking zombie. BUT in that time we erected the guts of the shelving, and on Wed. I spent the entire day (like 24hrs)hahha creating signs, layouts, tags, projects and a mannequin. These will all be seen in future blog posts and on some of my educator/ dt blogs. Helping Lori get her store on the go sure helped me with my tasks too. AWESOME!
So you guys simply must check her out. You will not be disappointed. Especially since nothing is old, all new new new. LOVE it! Obviously I don't need to tell you, I broke my pledge. I DID NOT complete 100 projects before Lori's store opened. Well maybe this one time I'll be allowed to add my work projects, then I completed it...hmmm. breaking my own rules? I think I'm only 30 layouts away, so maybe if I hussle down, then I can forgive myself.
So want to meet my pretty lady? Check this out. Here's a sneak. You can see this in person at Scrapbook Studio.
Then I may have a few layouts in there... just a few.
If you stop by Basically Bare site today you can see one of the signs that will be in her store too.
Well, off to create for a few more hours. Have some fun stuff coming up. Can't wait to share.
