my project 100 layouts.?
Tomorrow I will be sending out email blasts about Crop & Create Saskatoon. I definitely don't want to miss you, so if you would love to get our email, just email firstname.lastname@example.org and put Crop & Create Saskatoon in the subject heading. We open registration this Friday at noon. I will have a link on this site as well as on www.scrapbookandcards.com. I will also give some info on the classes and manufacturers tomorrow. They are really unbelievable, a class for all types of scrapbookers and cardmakers. So stay tuned, I would really hate for anyone to miss out on a class, we are offering them for a crazy deal.
Okay, back onto the pics...
Now, while I was at my garage sale. I decided I absolutely couldn't part with this paper pack. I was only selling it for $2, and it contained multiple sheets of SEI dill blossom papers, ribbon, chipboard, etc. AND because it was one of my absolute favourite papers ever, I kept every scrap no matter the size. Well, I realized I just couldn't part with it. I LOVED it!!!!
So while at my sale, whenever I wasn't hugely busy I would scrap. I made 4 layouts out of this kit and I think I can make another 2-3. I was ecstatic. Colourblocking at its finest. Quick, simple and fun. So I made each child a layout of one of the first photo shoots I attempt in the fall when Ireland was only a little babe. AND I made all the layouts and put the pics in 2 weeks later!!!I had no idea what pics would work, so that was even a nice bonus.
This one I barely made any cuts. It was all scraps. The only part I couldn't get to line up was towards the top left. So I put a chipboard journaling strip in vertically. It worked.
This one I knew I didn't want to cut up the background cause it is pink. (Little miss loves pink!)
This one I originally planned for it to go the other direction with vertical photos. But I really liked these pics on them so I turned it sideways. the flowers on the background now go sideways, but it doesn't even bother me enough to think twice about it. I LOVE making PREMADE layouts.
Then I went through the box of old classes and found this one from years ago. I am always wondering if I will like my classes years down the road. And you know what, I haven't been minding digging through them. Again this is only page 1. I didn't have enough pics for another page, so I just used one.
well off to get my CORE on. www.coredinations.com that is. My first deadline is June 6th and I just had a nice 35 pound box of cardstock delivered to me to be played with. Stay tuned, they will be revealed soon...
